Little tikes my first Duomo visit

Here they are in all their touristy goodness..... my first Duomo photos. Enjoy.

The Duomo is giant and super decorative
The colors of this building (white green and red marble) helped inspire the colors of the Italian flag. And since they are the colors of the actual marble, the colors won't fade or peel off like paint! It reminds me of glazing ceramics vs the coloring methods in glassblowing. I'm a nerd but I have fun. It is so big that I couldn't fit it into the camera frame and the square is huge as well. just look at the people in the first photo. Duomo! It's neat. We use it to see where we are in town when we can see it. Sometimes the streets are so narrow that you just can't see much.
