Walking city

I'm here in Florence as an Art student and one of the classes I'm taking is silkscreening. Silkscreening is a versatile form of printmaking where you use a stretched screen to transfer a design onto paper, fabric, wood, leather, or whatever other material you can print on. It can be used for a variety of different things and can transfer images with near photo precision. It's a neat process. So for our first project were sticking to drawing the layers and just 4 colors to keep things simple.

I LOVE how Florence is a walking city. You can go everywhere on foot. No need to drive or take a bus or anything. If you want to go somewhere you can get there on your own two feet and chances are, you will see something really neat along the way. Walking is great!
